The teal/blue/purple yarn was not looking so good with plain stockinette stitch, so these have become entrelac socks. We'll see how long I can keep this up!
Dad's socks turned out great and he was very pleased to receive them.

Focus on Socks
The demands of work have meant that I only have energy to make one sock after another (and to write very short blog posts). The only way to make it fun is to use wonderful colors.
From this assortment, my step mom chose teal blue, slate blue and deep purple.
Her yarn looks like this and is in line to be knit into socks soon. Dad's socks are first (lilac and slate blue). There are some lightly-dyed strands of pink, but we won't tell him (he's color blind and only wears the socks in the house).
I've put my own on hold (golden pear, slate blue, pine green).
